Investing in Oil and Gas is for investors who want to directly participate in the drilling of new wells or the acquisition of producing properties. It also delves in to deal structures and financial analyses including the construction of a projected cash flow. An additional chapter is dedicated to accounting and federal taxation. Part III is an 800-point checklist for evaluating oil and gas drilling investments. The checklist includes sections for reservoirs, geology, offset well information, production histories, maps, seismic data and seismic shoots, operations planning, cost estimates, financial analyses, oil and gas leases and other legal documents, deal structures, accounting, taxation, securities, personnel, and general risks.
